As being King of
Bollywood there is always a never ending expectation from the world about him.
Be it to attaining the IPL Trophy or to deliver the biggest Hit in the Industry
where he works and He never fails to deliver, world has seen that again.
With Chennai Express,
SRK becomes the only actor to deliver 10 consecutive Super hits (businesswise) as
a lead Actor (KANK, Don, Chak De India, OSO, Rab ne Bana Di Jodi, MNIK, Ra One,
Don2, Jab Tak hai Jaan, and Chennai Express) and also the only Actor to give
100 Cr in all the genres. (Sci-fi-Ra.One, Action-Don2, Romance-Jab Tak Hai
Jaan, Chennai Express-Masala Entertainment).
In spite being the most consistent performer there was always a
demand from everyone to give a massive mega blockbuster, which would reinstate
(In their terms) his King status. Just at the time CE was about to release. As
everything was going by the motions still SRK needed to deliver the biggest. This
time also when everyone expecting that it would be another decent hit by SRK’s
standard King decides to ride on the Cyclone called Chennai Express and the
rest they say is History.
Although right from the
beginning the “Express” was barricaded with “Some” bad reviews from certain sections and unlike
other Big movies it only got 6 days of free run at the box-office, but who
cares when King decides to respond no barrier can stand in front of him. Just from
the very beginning CE just stormed the box-office with never seen before raw
Star power. With in 3days it shattered 100 cr barrier and rest is history,
King’s Express carried each and every record with it on its way. CE becomes the
only India movie to gross 400 Cr worldwide.
Now, how to describe
the star named SRK. One way, He is the most consistent performer, other way He
is the most destructive, besides He is the biggest star and also is the King of
both classes and the masses. It’s like (Dravid+Tendulkar+Gayle+Bradman)
combined in one and then transformed their performance in a Moviestar, and
that’s what Shah Rukh Khan is..as he was, is and always will remain the best..
